Faculty Human Resources assists department heads and leaders in hiring and working with the best talent to support our mission in the areas of research, teaching, and extension education.
What We Do
Faculty Human Resources consults with IANR leaders to guide them through the faculty recruitment process. We strive to understand the needs of each unit while assisting faculty and staff. In addition, we are the liaison between units and the Department of Institutional Equity and Compliance (IEC), and also assist with faculty appointment management.
- Coordinate faculty and extension educator search processes
- Write letters of offer
- Assist hiring managers and HR staff with questions related to the recruitment and selection process
- Assist search committees with the candidate review process and related questions
- Administer the faculty recruitment module of the HRIS
- Partner with Business Center staff to provide updates on search processes
- Strategize and facilitate value-added recruitment processes
- Work with IANR leaders to create reappointment, visiting, and other faculty letters of offer
